Description

General Description

The JSN100 Serial 2WiFi Gateway module is used to provide Wi-Fi Capability to any devices having a serial interface. This approach offloads WLAN, TCP/IP stack and network management overhead to the Wi-Fi chip, allowing a small embedded host, based on such low-cost microcontrollers as the 8051, PIC, MSP430, or AVR, to communicate with other hosts on the network using a Wi-Fi wireless link. The host processor can use serial commands to configure the JSN100 Adapter and to create the wireless and network connections.
